Drive Safely: We monitor all cars in real time and can block any car if needed. Please drive responsibly and avoid speeding.
Speeding Penalties: There are significant fines for speeding in the UAE. Repeated violations may result in the unilateral termination of your rental agreement.
Abu Dhabi Speed Limits: In Abu Dhabi, you must drive below the speed limit indicated on signs. Even exceeding the limit by +1 km/h in this city will result in fines.
General Speed Limits: Do not exceed the speeds indicated on road signs. Remember, speedometer errors can vary due to factors like tires, temperature, and maintenance. The additional 19 km/h buffer is intended to help avoid fines but is not an allowance for speeding.
Driving Restrictions
Prohibited Areas:
Off-road/Desert Driving: Driving on sand, off-road, or half-desert areas is strictly prohibited. A fine of AED 5,000 will be charged for violations.
Avoid driving beyond the extreme line of paved roads, as cars can get stuck in sand even within a meter from the line.
Other Restrictions:
Racing or using cars for unauthorized activities is prohibited.
Vehicle Damage and Emergencies
If you damage a wheel or tire, call us immediately for assistance.
Accident Reporting: If the car is damaged and it’s not your fault then call us immediately so we can prepare a report for submission to the insurance company.
Police reports are mandatory for all accidents or damages, even if you are not at fault. Failure to submit required documents will result in the hirer bearing full damage costs as per the agency’s estimate.
Additional Fees
At the end of your rental period, you will need to pay for:
Traffic Fines: Any unpaid fines during your rental period.
Fines with Black Points: AED 200 per Black Point (if any).
Toll Charges: AED 5 per Salik toll.
Fuel Charges: For fuel levels below the starting level.
Excess Kilometers: AED 20–80 per km over the daily limit of 250 km.
Airport Parking Fees: AED 100.
Prohibited Actions
Excessive Speed: Driving over 140 km/h will result in immediate car seizure without a refund.
Photo Stops on Bridges: Stopping on bridges like Meydan Bridge or other roads for photoshoots is strictly prohibited and will result in a fine of AED 12,000.
Noise Violations: Avoid unnecessary noise such as revving the engine in traffic or parking lots, as this may lead to fines.
Phone Use While Driving: Using your phone in a way that distracts your eyes from the road is strictly prohibited and subject to fines.
Smoking in the Vehicle: Smoking is not allowed in the car. A penalty of AED 2,000 will be charged for deep cleaning.
Navigation and Insurance
Preferred Navigation Tool: Use Waze Maps for navigation in Dubai as it offers the best accuracy.
Insurance Details:
Insurance excess amounts are 10-20% of the estimated damage repair in cases of driver fault or unknown police reports.
If the accident is not your fault and all required documents are submitted, you pay nothing.
Refund Policy
Bookings must be canceled at least 14 days prior to the rental start date for a full refund.
Driver Requirements
The driver must be at least 18 years old or above to rent and drive the car.
